PL for Cockburn network teachers


I was pleased to have the opportunity to present to a group of teachers from the schools in the Cockburn Central Education Network's HASS community last week. My aim was to dispel the myths that:

  • you need to be a 'rocket scientist' to teach EandB in Year 5 or 6

  • this is something extra to teach on top of all the HASS content.

I concentrated on unpacking the content descriptions from the Year 5 and Year 6 Economics and Business syllabuses and how the EandB Education materials are structured. Click to view the PowerPoint.
